How To Make Crock Pot Candles

Today’s feature is from Bonzai Aphrodite with this tutorial for Homemade Holidays: Crock Pot Candles:

All you need is some wax, some wicks + wick bases, and some candle-holders. I have heard that using soy wax because it makes superior quality candles. It’s available at any craft store along with a selection of other options. You can use precut wicks that came in their bases, but you can also buy wick string and cut it yourself, both are available at the craft store.

For candle holders, try using a bunch of shot glasses, these can come in all sizes, you could also upcycle your old candle holders, or hit the thrift stores for anything from shot glasses to tea cups, whatever you can imagine can become a funky candle holder.

These are so easy to make! All you need is a few hours to monitor the crockpot while the wax melts and once it’s melted, you put the wicks in place, turn the crockpot off and go do other crafty things while the candles cool and harden. What a lovely handmade gift idea!

Please visit the site above for all the details, so creative & crafty!
